AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings for Brandon’s Reserve
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The public improvements associated with Brandon’s Reserve include the construction of a new
street, Ford Lane, and the installation of utilities for a 23 lot single family residential subdivision.
The subject property is located on the west side of Warrior Lane immediately south of the
Waukee Public Library. The subject property is approximately 13.75 acres in area.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: At this time a majority of staff comments have been
addressed and Staff is confident that the remaining comment will be addressed prior to the
Council meeting. Staff recommends approval subject to remaining staff comments.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution.

RESOLUTION 16-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
BRANDON’S RESERVE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction plans have been submitted to the City for Brandon’s Reserve;
AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and
City staff, and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land
Subdivision Ordinance of the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa on this 4th day of April, 2016 that the Construction Drawings for Brandon’s Reserve
be approved subject to remaining staff comments.
