along the west side of NE Dartmoor Dr. between NE Venture Dr. and
NE Bowman Dr. from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2016,
at the request of the West Side Kids

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: West Side Kids Daycare requests temporary street
parking to accommodate attendees at a preschool graduation ceremony.

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: The Waukee Police Department has reviewed the
request and has no concerns.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution.

RESOLUTION 16-
APPROVING TEMPORARY PARKING ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF NE DARTMOOR
DR. BETWEEN NE VENTURE DR. AND NE BOWMAN DR. FROM 10:30 A.M. TO 1:00 P.M.
ON FRIDAY, MAY 20, 2016, AT THE REQUEST OF THE WEST SIDE KIDS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the owners of West Side Kids Daycare, 255 NE Dartmoor Dr., request permission to
temporarily allow parking along the west side of NE Dartmoor Dr. between NE Venture Dr. and NE
Bowman Dr. from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2016, to accommodate guests for a
preschool graduation ceremony; AND,
WHEREAS, the Waukee Police Department has reviewed the request and has no concerns.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 18th
day of April, 2016, that it hereby approves temporary parking along the west side of NE Dartmoor Dr.
between NE Venture Dr. and NE Bowman Dr. from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2016.
