SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The original Agreement between Stanley Consultants and
the City of Waukee did not include the bidding process. The Supplemental
Agreement includes that process at the cost of $2,445.00.

APPROVING SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1 WITH STANLEY
CONSULTANTS, INC. [3RD STREET WATER TOWER REFURBISHMENT PROJECT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, on October 5, 2015, the Waukee City Council approved an Agreement for
Engineering Services with Stanley Consultants, Inc., related to the 3`d Street Water Tower
Refurbishment Project (Resolution 915-345); AND,
WHEREAS, the City proposes a Supplemental Agreement to the Engineering Services
Agreement to include the bidding process; AND,
WHEREAS, the engineering services supplemental amendment, attached hereto as Exhibit A,
has been reviewed by the City Attorney, who finds it satisfactory.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Supplemental Agreement No. 1 with Stanley Consultants, Inc. [3`d Street Water Tower
Refurbishment Project] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 2°d day of May, 2016.

40. SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1
This Supplemental Agreement, made and entered into by and between STANLEY CONSULTANTS, INC.
(Consultant) and CITY OF WAUKEE (Client) amends their agreement of October 5, 2015, for Consultant to
provide additional services to the Client for the 3rd Street Water Tower Refurbishment Project, as follows:
Scope of Services
Consultant shall provide Bidding Assistance Services to include coordination during advertisement, contacting
potential bidders, distribution of bidding documents, maintaining potential bidders list, preparing bid tab and
evaluating bid submittals, preparing letter of recommendation for award of contract, and preparing contract
package and notice of award to contractor.
Time of Beginning and Completion
February 25 - March 23, 2016
Fees and Payments
Additional Services shall be compensated on an Hourly Basis for Laborforthe amount of Two Thousand Four -
hundred Forty-five Dollars ($2,445.00).
Except as specifically amended by this Supplemental Agreement, all the terms and conditions of the original
Agreement dated October 5, 2015 shall remain in full force and effect.
