AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting May 16, 2016, as the date
of public hearing on an ordinance to amend Chapter 301, Zoning
Ordinance, City of Waukee, Iowa, by rezoning and changing certain
property therein from A-1 (Agricultural District) to K-MF-Rowhouse
(Kettlestone Multi-Family Rowhouse District) [Maple Grove Place]
FORMAT: Consent
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Maple Grove Place, LLC, has submitted a request for
rezoning of approximately 24.16 acres from A-1 Agricultural District to
K-MF-Rowhouse (Kettlestone Multi-Family Rowhouse District) for
property that is generally located west of SE Waco Place and north of
Ashworth Road.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of setting the public
hearing date for May 16, 2016 to discuss this matter further.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
