SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The Street Department is going to be responsible
for mowing Grand Prairie Parkway medians. This mower is rear discharge to prevent
rocks being thrown into vehicles. This is state bid pricing.

APPROVING PURCHASE OF A ZERO -TURN REAR DISCHARGE MOWER
FROM CLIVE POWER EQUIPMENT OF CLIVE, IA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$12,159.00 [WAUKEE PUBLIC WORKS, STREETS DIVISION]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee Public Works Department recommends the purchase
of a zero -turn rear discharge mower from Clive Power Equipment of Clive, IA, in the
amount of $12,159.00; AND,
WHEREAS, the proposed purchase will be used by the Streets Division in mowing of
the Grand Prairie Parkway medians.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 161h day of May, 2016, that it hereby approves purchase of a zero -turn rear
discharge mower from Clive Power Equipment of Clive, IA, in the amount of
$12,159.00 [Waukee Public Works, Streets Division].
