HomeMy WebLinkAbout2016-05-16-J13 Alice Patricia Homes_CDs AGENDA ITEM: CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: May 16, 2016 AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction drawings for Alice Patricia Homes FORMAT: Resolution SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The public improvements associated with Alice Patricia Homes include the extensions of NE Dellwood Drive and NE Boston Parkway and the installation of utilities for a 12 lot multi-family residential subdivision. The subject property is located on the west side of NE Alice’s Road and south of NE Douglas Parkway. The subject property is approximately 21.81 acres in area. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: At this time a majority of staff comments have been addressed and Staff is confident that the remaining comment will be addressed prior to the Council meeting. Staff recommends approval subject to remaining staff comments. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution. ATTACHMENTS: I. Proposed Resolution II. Project Area Identification Map PREPARED BY: Andy Kass, Senior Planner REVIEWED BY: PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION – NAME OF PUBLICATION: DATE OF PUBLICATION: THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA RESOLUTION 16- APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR ALICE PATRICIA HOMES IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal Organization; AND, WHEREAS, construction plans have been submitted to the City for Alice Patricia Homes; AND, WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and City staff, and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land Subdivision Ordinance of the Waukee Municipal Code. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on this 16th day of May, 2016 that the Construction Drawings for Alice Patricia Homes be approved subject to remaining staff comments. ____________________________ William F.
