SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: A resident requests temporary street parking to
accommodate attendees at a family reunion.

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: The Waukee Police, Fire, and Public Works
Departments have reviewed the request and have no concerns.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution.

RESOLUTION 16-
APPROVING TEMPORARY PARKING ALONG THE EAST SIDE OF SE WACO PL.
BETWEEN THE NORTH AND SOUTH TERMINI OF SE SAGEWOOD CIR. FROM 1:00
P.M. TO 5:00 P.M. ON SUNDAY, MAY 29, 2016
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, Brooke Vaske, 445 SE Waco Place, requests permission to temporarily allow parking
along the east side of SE Waco Pl. between the north and south termini of SE Sagewood Cir. from 1:00
p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, 2016, to accommodate guests for a family reunion; AND,
WHEREAS, the Waukee Police, Fire, and Public Works Departments have reviewed the request and
have no concerns.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 23rd
day of May, 2016, that it hereby approves temporary parking along the east side of SE Waco Pl.
between the north and south termini of SE Sagewood Cir. from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May
29, 2016.
