SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The Fiscal Year 2017 compensation plan related to non-
represented employee positions reflects an overall 2.5% COLA wage
adjustment.

RESOLUTION 16-
ADOPTING FY2017 COMPENSATION PLAN AND ESTABLISHING THE WAGE
RATE FOR ALL NON-REPRESENTED CITY EMPLOYEES
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, per City of Waukee Code Section §110.4 the City Council shall annually review
and approve proposed wages for City employees whose positions are not represented by the City
of Waukee Collective Bargaining Unit; AND,
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Fiscal Year 2017 compensation plan related to
non-represented employee positions with an overall 2.5% COLA wage adjustment;
WHEREAS, the City Council has also reviewed the Fiscal Year 2017 wage rates;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
20th day of June, 2016, hereby approves the FY2017 compensation plan for non-represented
employees, which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and establishes the FY2017 wage rates,
according to Exhibit B, hereto attached, and made part of this resolution; AND,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Waukee City Council approves the FY2017
Compensation Plan and FY2017 Wage Rates for non-represented City employees.
