AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving Agreement for
Professional Consulting Services with Snyder & Associates, Inc.
[Construction Inspection, Supplemental]
FORMAT: Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: For the last 2 years Snyder and Associates has
provided the City with third party construction inspection of our Capital
Improvement Projects. The Supplemental Agreement for Construction
Inspection extends that service for another year which has worked very
well and Staff is recommending approval.

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff recommends approval
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution.

RESOLUTION 16-
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES
BETWEEN THE CITY OF WAUKEE AND SNYDER & ASSOCIATES
[CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION, SUPPLEMENTAL]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, for the last two years, Snyder & Associates has provided the City of Waukee with
third party construction inspection of Capital Improvement Projects; AND,
WHEREAS, City staff recommends approval of the proposed Supplemental Agreement for
Construction Inspection that extends Snyder & Associates’ services for another year;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Professional Consulting Services between Snyder & Associates, Inc., and the City
of Waukee, IA [Construction Inspection, Supplemental] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 1st day of August,
2016.
