Waukee Municipal Code, Traffic Regulations of the City of Waukee,
Iowa, by adding to Section 502, Parking Regulations, certain public
streets as specified [third (final) reading]

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: City staff recommends approval of the third reading of
the ordinance in title only.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the third reading of the ordinance in title only and place it on
final passage.

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 502, WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,
TRAFFIC REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA, BY ADDING TO
SECTION 502 “PARKING REGULATIONS,” A CERTAIN PUBLIC STREET AS
SPECIFIED BELOW
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee has determined that a certain public street should be added
to the no parking ordinances.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1. Chapter 502, Waukee Municipal Code, Traffic Regulations, Section 502.8, is
hereby amended to add subsection I as follows:
§502.8 Other parking prohibitions on east-west streets:
I. Bel-Aire Drive from its intersection with Warrior Lane to a point 195 feet
to the west from 7 AM to 5 PM Monday-Friday for the period
commencing with the first to the last day of each school year as
established by the Waukee Community School District calendar posted on
the District website.
Section 2. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. Severability Clause. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance
as a whole or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage, approval
and publication as provided by law.
