drawings (sanitary sewer plans only) for Shops at Kettlestone North Plat

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The applicant, Kurt Brewer, is requesting approval of the sanitary sewer plans associated with the
Shops at Kettlestone North Plat 1 located north of Ashworth Road and west of Grand Prairie
Parkway. Staff continues to review the full set of construction drawings, however, there is a
significant lead time necessary in ordering the sanitary sewer manholes.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: At this time, staff comments related to the sanitary
sewer plans associated with the construction drawings for Shops at Kettlestone North Plat 1 are
complete and staff would recommend approval.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution.

RESOLUTION 16-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
SHOPS AT KETTLESTONE NORTH PLAT 1, SANITARY SEWER
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction plans have been submitted to the City for Shops at Kettlestone North
Plat 1; AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and City staff,
and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land Subdivision Ordinance of
the Waukee Municipal Code for sanitary sewer installation only.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 15th day of August, 2016 that the Construction Drawings for Shops at Kettlestone North -
Sanitary Sewer be approved subject to remaining staff comments.
