SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: City staff requests temporary street parking to
accommodate attendees for the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce
economic development bus tour.

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: The temporary street parking is City-initiated.

RESOLUTION 16-
APPROVING TEMPORARY PARKING ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF NE HORIZON
DRIVE FROM NE ARCHER AVENUE WEST TO NE WESTGATE DRIVE BETWEEN THE
HOURS OF 3:00 P.M. AND 6:30 P.M. ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2016
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, City staff recommends the allowance of temporary parking along the south side of NE
Horizon Drive from NE Archer Avenue west to NE Westgate Drive between the hours of 3:00 p.m.
and 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2016, to accommodate guests attending the Waukee Area
Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Bus Tour event.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 6th day
of September, 2016, that it hereby approves temporary parking along the south side of NE Horizon
Drive from NE Archer Avenue west to NE Westgate Drive between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 6:30
p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2016.
