AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting October 3, 2016, as the
date of public hearing on an ordinance to amend Chapter 301, Zoning
Ordinance, City of Waukee, Iowa, by rezoning and changing the PD-1
(Planned Development Overlay District) [Outlot Z of Williams Pointe
Plat 14]
FORMAT: Consent
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The applicant, LockBox Storage has requested the
City consider amending the existing Planned Development Overlay
District for the Williams Pointe North Planned Development to allow for
the development of a self storage facility on approximately 6 acres of
property that is located west of SE Brick Drive and north of SE Laurel
Street.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of setting the public
hearing date for October 3, 2016 to discuss this matter further.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
