AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings for Ashworth North Plat 1
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The public improvements associated with Ashworth North Plat 1 include an extension of 8-inch
sanitary sewer that will serve the Knapp Office Building project and future development to the
east. In addition, a short extension of a 12-inch water main along the north side of SE Esker
Ridge Drive is included in the plan. The property is located west of Grand Prairie Parkway and is
north of the intersection of Grand Prairie Parkway and SE Esker Ridge Drive.

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: At this time all staff comments have been addressed.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution.

RESOLUTION 16-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
ASHWORTH NORTH PLAT 1
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction plans have been submitted to the City for Ashworth North Plat
1; AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and
City staff, and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land
Subdivision Ordinance of the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa on this 3rd day of October, 2016 that the Construction Drawings for Ashworth North
Plat 1 be approved subject to remaining staff comments.
