AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of Payment Estimate No. 5 (Corrected) to Joiner
Construction Co., Inc., for the Fox Creek Park Improvement Project, Phase 1,
in the amount of $90,487.75
FORMAT: Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: On 10/03/2016, the Waukee City Council approved
Payment Estimate No. 5 for the Fox Creek Park Improvement Project, Phase
I, for an incorrect amount. The letter of recommendation from the project
engineer has been revised with the correct dollar amount for this payment
estimate.
Payment Estimate No. 5 to Joiner Construction Co. Inc. is for dirt work,
plantings, seeding, and final bike trail work. The quantities completed to date
have been reviewed and agreed upon by the contractor, City of Waukee Staff,
and Genus Landscape Architects.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: $90,487.75

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution.
