AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting December 5, 2016 as the date of
public hearing on the vacation of a portion of a surface water flowage and
surface water storage easement [Lot 22 of Southfork Plat 1]
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Staff has received a request to consider vacating a portion
of a surface water flowage easement across the property located at 670 SE
Southfork Drive in order to allow for the construction of a deck. The owner
has had the property surveyed and a licensed engineer has confirmed the size
of the easement can be reduced to convey the necessary overland flowage
through the property.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of setting the public
hearing date for December 5, 2016 to discuss the vacation of a portion of the
surface water flowage easement.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
