AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of Change Order No. 3 to Rognes Corp. for
the Northwest Area Trunk Sewer Extension – Phase I Improvements
Project increasing the contract in the amount by $147,437.50
FORMAT: Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The change order is for additional work to replace and existing 36” sewer
segment east of Sugar Creek Golf Course. The segment must be
replaced in order to complete the connection of the City’s wastewater
treatment facility to Des Moines Metropolitan WRA.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: The net result of this
Change Order increases the contract price by $147,437.50.
