HomeMy WebLinkAbout2016-12-19-J01zBB Shops at Kettlestone North Plat 2 Rezoning_Set PH AGENDA ITEM: CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: December 19, 2016 AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting January 3, 2017, as the date of public hearing on an ordinance to amend Chapter 301, Zoning Ordinance, City of Waukee, Iowa, by rezoning and changing certain property therein from A-1 (Agricultural District) to K-RC (Kettlestone Retail Community District) [The Shops at Kettlestone North Plat 1] FORMAT: Consent SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: ARAC, LLC with property owner Sharron Johnson request approval of rezoning of approximately 0.65 acres of property from A-1 Agricultural District to K-RC Kettlestone Retail Community District. The property is located within the Kettlestone Overlay District and is generally located just east of the intersection of Grand Prairie Parkway and Ashworth Road. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of setting the public hearing date for January 3, 2017 to discuss this matter further.
