for the NW 2nd Street Construction – NW Venture Drive to NW Douglas
Parkway project increasing the contract price in the amount of
$34,190.00
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Change Order No. 2 is for additional sanitary sewer,
water main, miscellaneous fittings and sidewalk to coordinate with adjacent development.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: The net result of this
Change Order increases the contract price in the amount of $34,190.00. The City will receive a
partial reimbursement in the amount of $17,596.00 from the adjacent developer,
Landmark/Prairie Rose LLC, at the time of final plat.

We have reviewed the submitted quotes from Elder Corporation and they appear to be in order
with current industry pricing. If City Staff concurs with this pricing, we recommend the City of

Waukee Increase the contract price in the amount of $34,190.00 to complete the additional work

Project Title
