RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution. ATTACHMENTS: I. Resolution II. Certificate of Completion PREPARED BY: Beth Richardson REVIEWED BY: Sara Kappos SKK PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION – NAME OF PUBLICATION: DATE OF PUBLICATION: J1O RESOLUTION 2021- RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS [LIFT STATION NO. 3 REHABILITATION PHASE 3 WET WELL REPAIRS PROJECT] WHEREAS, on the 1st day of January, 2021, the Mayor and Clerk of the City of Waukee, Iowa, entered into a construction contract with Woodruff Construction, Inc., of Ames, IA, for the construction of certain public improvements generally described as the Lift Station No. 3 Rehabilitation Phase 3 Wet Well Repairs Project; and WHEREAS, the contractor has fully completed the construction of the public improvements in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and plans and specifications, as shown by the certificate of the Engineer filed with the Clerk on July 21, 2021: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, STATE OF IOWA: Section 1.That the report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the public improvements are hereby approved and accepted as having been fully completed in accordance with the plans, specifications and form of contract and the total final construction cost thereof is hereby determined to be $127,300.00, as shown in the report of the Engineer.
