Home My WebLink About2021-06-30-1051 DESIGNATION OF THE METHOD BY WHICH CANDIDATES FOR ELECTIVE MUNICIPAL OFFICES SHALL BE NOMINATED. §105.1 Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to designate the methods by which candidates for elective municipal offices in the City of Waukee, Iowa, shall be nominated. §105.2 Nominating Method To Be Used. For the 1977 municipal election and in subsequent municipal elections of the City of Waukee, Iowa, all candidates for elective municipal offices shall be nominated by the procedures set forth in Chapter 45 of the 1973 Code of Iowa, as amended. The method prescribed herein for nominating candidates shall remain in effect until or unless changed by ordinance.
