HomeMy WebLinkAbout2021-06-30-6201 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THE PUNISHMENT FOR VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 600, WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee: §620.1 Violations of provisions of Chapter 600, Waukee Municipal Code. Violation of any of the provisions of Chapter 600, Waukee Municipal Code, shall be punishable as a simple misdemeanor by imprisonment not to exceed 30 days or a fine not to exceed $500.00. A criminal penalty surcharge shall be added to a fine imposed on a misdemeanant as herein provided pursuant to section 911.1, Code of Iowa. §620.2 Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. §620.3 Severability Clause. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provisions or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. §620.4 Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final passage, approval and publication as provided by law. May 17, 1999 – Ordinances 2295 November 7, 2005 – Ordinance 2555
