RESOLUTION 2021-318
APPROVING INSTALLATION OF STREETLIGHT PROPOSAL FROM
MIDAMERICAN ENERGY COMPANY [WARRIOR LANE RECONSTRUCTION
PROJECT, WMIS 28924931
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, MidAmerican Energy proposes to install thirty 150 Watt LED equivalent lights
on 28' galvanized steel poles with 6' masts as part of the Warrior Lane Improvements Phase 1
project; AND,
WHEREAS, the street lights will be installed on steel poles and will be served by
underground conductors but will be billed to the City at the wood pole, overhead rate at a total
cost of $165,987.49;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that
the Installation of Streetlight Proposal from MidAmerican Energy Warrior Lane
Reconstruction Project, WMIS 2892493] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 19' day of
July, 2021. n
