RESOLUTION 2021-328
APPROVING QUOTE FOR DEMOLITION AND PROPERTY RESTORATION 1905
ASHWORTH DRIVE AND 945 LAUREL STREET]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee owns property located at 905 Ashworth Drive and 945 Laurel
Street that were acquired for future street improvements along Ashworth Drive; AND,
WHEREAS, City staff requested quotes for the demolition of structures and restoration of the
property; AND,
WHEREAS, having reviewed the submitted quotes, City staff recommends awarding quote for
demolition services located at 905 Ashworth Drive and 945 Laurel Street to J Pettiecord of
Bondurant, Iowa, in the amount of $39,500.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa that
the quotes for the structure demolition as noted above be accepted and approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 2"d day of August 2021.
