RESOLUTION 15-254
APPROVING THK TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE ASTER COURT FROM SE STONE
PRAIRIE DRIVE NORTH TO ITS TERMINUS ON FRIDAY,AUGUST 21,2015,BETWEEN
THK HOURS OF 4:00 P.M.AND 10:00 P.M.FOR THE PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD
BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF 8 A UKEE,IO WA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Jamie Smith,2315 SE Aster Court,requests the temporary closing of SE Aster Court
from SE Stone Prairie Drive north to its terminus on Friday,August 21,2015,between the hours of
4:00 p.m.and 10:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to t'1 364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 3'"
day
of August,2015,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Aster Court from SE Stone
Prairie Drive north to its terminus on Friday,August 21,2015,between the hours of 4:00 p.m.and
10:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
