Park Ball Field Fence Replacement Project]

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Signed contract needs approval for the previously
approved Centennial Park Ball Field Fencing project that shall be
completed before December 3, 2021. The low quote of $119,462.00 from
Des Moines Steel Fence Company was approved on June 21, 2021.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:$119.462.00

APPROVING CONTRACT FOR CENTENNIAL PARK BALL FIELD FENCE
REPLACEMENT PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF WAUKEE, IOWA:
That the contract for the construction of certain public improvements described in general as
the Centennial Park Ball Field Fence Replacement Project and described in detail in the request
for proposals be and the same are hereby approved as follows:
Contractor: Des Moines Steel Fence of Des Moines, IA
Amount of quote: $119,492.00
Portion of project: All construction work
PASSED AND APPROVED this 7th day of September, 2021.
