RESOLUTION 2021-348
APPROVING CITY OF WAUKEE CONTINUITY OF OPERATIONS PLAN
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, it is recommended that the City of Waukee establish a Continuity of Operations
Plan to outline the steps to maintain essential operations to the citizens of Waukee in the event of
natural or man-made interruptions to service; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee Continuity of Operations Plan includes activation, outlining of
essential functions and the backup systems in place to protect current infrastructure.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
2021 City of Waukee Continuity of Operations Plan is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 16t" day of August,
2021.
