RESOLUTION 2021-396
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR FIFTH ASSET, INC. d/b/a DEBTBOOK
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, the Governmental Accounting Standards Board issues Statements to
improve accounting and financial reporting for governmental entities; AND,
WHEREAS, in June 2017 GASB Statement 87 Leases was approved for
implementation during FY2022; AND,
WHEREAS, City staff has researched products to assist with implementation of
GASB87 Lease tracking and has determined DebtBook to be the best solution for staff,
bonding attorney, financial advisor and auditor;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 200' day of September, 2021, that it hereby approves an Agreement for
DebtBook with Fifth Asset, Inc. with an annual cost of $7,500.00 and one time
implementation fee of $1,500.00.
