AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving Easements associated
with offsite utility extensions for Fox Valley
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: A number of offsite easements associated with the
extensions of utilities associated with the Fox Valley development located
west of N. Warrior Lane and south of NW Meredith Drive are necessary for
future access. The easements include sanitary sewer easements and a water
main easement.

RESOLUTION 2021-
APPROVING EASEMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH OFFSITE UTILITY
EXTENSIONS FOR FOX VALLEY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain easements from Ashley Acres, LLC are
necessary for the purpose of construction of utilities associated with the Fox Valley
development.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa,
that the Public Sanitary Sewer Easement (1) and Water Main Easement (2) from Ashley Acres,
LLC, for utility extensions associated with Fox Valley is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 4th day of
October, 2021.
