AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting November 1, 2021 as the date of
public hearing on the annexation of consenting properties by the City of
Waukee, Iowa with consideration of the annexation taking place immediately
thereafter [David and Rita Brcka]
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Staff has received a petition from David and Rita Brcka
for their property located at 2733 V Avenue (Warrior Lane). The annexation
would include approximately 10 acres.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend setting a public hearing date for
November 1, 2021 to further discuss the annexation proposal.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
