RESOLUTION 2021-455
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES WITH
VEENSTRA & KIMM, INC. [NORTHEAST OUTFALL SEWER]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City desires to retain the consultant services of Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. for the
Northeast Outfall Sewer Project; AND,
WHEREAS, the scope of services include installation of 30-inch diameter sanitary sewer along
Little Walnut Creek from an existing Urbandale Sanitary Sewer District sewer and a future City
of Grimes sewer north of Douglas Parkway and west of 142" d Street in Urbandale to Lift Station
No. 7 along N Warrior Lane north of future NW Douglas Parkway. This sewer will connect to
the WRA system and will allow for the possible decommissioning of lift Station No. 7;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Professional Consulting Services between Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. and the City of
Waukee, Iowa [Northeast Outfall Sewer] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 18`" day of October,
2021.
