Professional Consulting Services with Foth Infrastructure and Environment,
LLC [NW Meredith Drive Overlay Project, NW 10th Street to N. Warrior
Lane]
FORMAT:Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The project consists of an asphalt overlay of NW Meredith
Drive from NW 10th Street to N Warrior Lane. The Consultant will complete project coordination
activities, design survey and mapping, preliminary design, final plans and specifications, letting
services and construction phase administration and survey.
This project is part of the draft FY 2023 CIP. Total budget in the draft FY 2023 CIP is $1,475,000.
The project schedule is currently set to take bids in February 2022 and complete construction by
August 2022. The Professional Consulting Services Agreement with Foth Infrastructure and
Environment is for $68,600.00 which is approximately 4.7% of the construction cost.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: City agrees to pay the Consultant
the following sum Not-to-Exceed, including any authorized reimbursable expenses, pursuant to the
Schedule of Fees set forth in Attachment 3 of the agreement.
Basic Services of the Consultant
A.Basic Services of Consultant $ 49,600
B.Construction Services $ 19,000
Total $ 68,600

RESOLUTION 2021-
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES WITH
FOTH INFRASTRUCTURE & ENVIRONMENT, LLC [NW MEREDITH DRIVE
OVERLAY PROJECT, NW 10TH STREET TO N. WARRIOR LANE]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City desires to retain the consultant services of Foth Infrastructure &
Environment, LLC, for the NW Meredith Drive Overlay Project, NW 10th Street to N. Warrior
Lane; AND,
WHEREAS, the scope of services include project coordination activities, design survey and
mapping, preliminary design, final plans and specifications, letting services and construction
phase administration and survey for the NW Meredith Drive Overlay Project, NW 10th Street to
N. Warrior Lane;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Professional Consulting Services between Foth Infrastructure & Environment,
LLC, and the City of Waukee, Iowa [NW Meredith Drive Overlay Project, NW 10th Street to N.
Warrior Lane] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 1st day of November,
2021.
