AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of Change Order No. 2 to Meade, Inc for the
Waukee 10-Inch Project Meredith/NW 10th Street Distribution Main
increasing the contract amount by $16,843.00.
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Change Order No. 2 is to increase the depth of cover
to 8 foot minimum of an estimated 950 feet of the 10-inch HDPE gas main along Meredith St. &
Alice’s Rd. this change will prevent having to lower the pipeline at a later date for future road
widening projects.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: The net result of this
Change Order increases the contract price in the amount of $16,843.00.
