RESOLUTION 2021-
APPROVING MAYOR’S APPOINTMENT OF A CITIZEN MEMBER TO THE
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION FOR AN UNEXPIRED TERM ENDING
JANUARY 31, 2025
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, on November 15, 2021, the Waukee City Council found sufficient cause to remove
La’Cee Conley from the Planning and Zoning Commission, pursuant to Waukee Municipal Code
section 166.11(2) (2021) (Resolution #2021-XXX); AND,
WHEREAS, Mayor Courtney Clarke appoints KC Gerlitz to fill the unexpired Planning &
Zoning Commission term.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
15th day of November, 2021, that the mayor’s appointment of KC Gerlitz to the Planning and
Zoning Commission for an unexpired term ending January 31, 2025, is hereby approved.
