AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving Overland Flowage
Easement, Stratford Crossing Plat 10, Utilizing Raccoon River Trail Property
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Dallas County has granted an Overland Flowage Easement
to the City of Waukee. The easement is located within the right-of-way of the
Raccoon River Valley Trail. The purpose of the easement is for drainage
improvements that are required to be completed as part of the improvements
for Stratford Crossing Plat 10.

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2021-
APPROVING OVERLAND FLOWAGE EASEMENT, STRATFORD CROSSING
PLAT 10, UTILIZING RACCOON RIVER VALLEY TRAIL PROPERTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain easements from The County of Dallas County,
Iowa, are necessary for the purpose of improvements associated Stratford Crossing Plat 10.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa,
that the Overland Flowage Easement, Stratford Crossing Plat 10, Utilizing Raccoon River Trail
Property, is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 6th day of
December, 2021.
