APPROVING INSTALLATION OF STREETLIGHT PROPOSAL FROM
MIDAMERICAN ENERGY COMPANY [NE DOUGLAS PARKWAY, WMIS

IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, MidAmerican Energy proposes to install streetlights on NE Douglas Parkway to
accommodate the NE Douglas Parkway Extension project; AND,
WHEREAS, the street lights will be installed on steel poles and will be served by
underground conductors but will be billed to the City at the wood pole, overhead rate at a cost
of $38,635.30;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that
the Installation of Streetlight Proposal from MidAmerican Energy [NE Douglas Parkway] is
hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 71" day of
June, 2021.
