AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of Change Order No. 1 to Grimes Asphalt and
Paving Corporation for the 2021 Asphalt Overlay project increasing the
contract amount by $7,547.44.
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Change Order No. 1 is for groove cutting for
pavement markings and symbols as well as adding durable pavement markings and symbols in
place of waterborne pavement markings and symbols.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: The net result of this
Change Order increases the contract price in the amount of $7,547.44.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the change order.
