AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 68, PARKING REGULATIONS, CITY OF
WAUKEE, IOWA, BY AMENDING SECTION 68.09, NO PARKING ZONES AS
SPECIFIED BELOW
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee has determined that certain public streets should be added
to or eliminated from the parking regulations.
BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1. Waukee Municipal Code Chapter 68, Parking Regulations, Section 68.09, No
Parking Zones, is hereby amended by repealing, replacing, or adding the following sections:
§68.09 1. Both Sides of North -South Streets. No parking is permitted at any time on
either side of the following streets:
Repeal and replace section G with the following. -
SE Waco Place from a point 70-ft north of the centerline of SE Bell Drive to a
point 50-ft south of the centerline of SE Bell Drive.
Repeal and replace section Z., AA., BB. with the ollowin.Q:
Z. SE Waco Place from E. Hickman Road (U.S. Highway 6) to a point 130-ft south
of the centerline of SE Laurel Street
AA. SE Waco Place from a point 200-ft north of the centerline of SE Sagewood Circle
to a point 70-ft south of the centerline of SE Traden Drive.
BB. SE Waco Place from a point 190-ft north of the centerline of SE Olson Drive to
SE Ashworth Road.
§68.09 2. East Side of North -South Streets. No parking is permitted at any time on
the east side of the following north -south streets:
Repeal and replace section EEE with the following:
EEE. SE Waco Place from SE Traden Drive to SE Olson Drive.
§68.09 6. South Side of East-West Streets. No parking is permitted on the south side
of the following east -west streets:
Add the following new sections:
Bel Aire Drive from its intersection with 1st Street to a point 110-ft to the east.
Bel Aire Dr from its intersection with S Warrior Lane to a point 195-ft to the
west.
§68.09 7. Other Parking Prohibitions on East-West Streets.
Repeal section A completer
Section 2. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of
this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. Severability Clause. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance
as a whole or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage, approval
and publication as provided by law.
