RESOLUTION 2021-517
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES
AMENDMENT NO.2 WITH CALHOUN-BURNS AND ASSOCIATES, INC. [NW
DOUGLAS PARKWAY CULVERT AND POND IMPROVEMENTS]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City has retained the consultant services of Calhoun -Burns and Associates, Inc.
for the NW Douglas Parkway Culvert and Pond Improvements Project; AND,
WHEREAS, the original Agreement for Professional Consulting Services with Calhoun -Burns
and Associates, Inc. was approved on October 5, 2020 (RES 2020-371); AND,
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 included additional permitting, design and bid phase services
was approved on July 19, 2021 (RES 2021-322); AND,
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 2 provides a comprehensive list of the tasks Calhoun -Burns and
Associates, Inc. and sub -consultant Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. will perform;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Professional Consulting Services Amendment No. 2 between Calhoun -Burns and
Associates, Inc. and the City of Waukee, Iowa [NW Douglas Parkway Culvert and Pond
Improvements] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 20' day of
December, 2021.
