RESOLUTION 2022-011
APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT FOR COOPERATIVE PUBLIC
SERVICES BETWEEN POLK COUNTY, IOWA, AND THE CENTRAL IOWA
WATERSHED MANAGEMENT AUTHORITIES FOR THE FUNDING OF A
WATERSHED COORDINATOR POSITION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the Agreement approved by the various members of the Central Iowa Watershed
Management Authority between September 22, 2020 and January 26, 2021, with an effective
date of October 16, 2020 (Resolution 2020-414); AND,
WHEREAS, the Amendment is to update the Watershed Outreach Coordinator Duties of the
County; AND,
WHEREAS, the Amendment is to update and replace the cost sharing model for cost share year
2022 and beyond until further amendment or termination;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Amendment to Agreement for Cooperative Public Service between Polk County, Iowa and the
Central Iowa Watershed Management Authorities for the Funding of a Watershed Coordinator
Position is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 3rd day of January,
2022.
