RESOLUTION 2022-105
SETTING FORTH CHECK AUTHORIZATION PROCEDURES AND AUTHORIZED
SIGNATORIES FOR THE CITY ACCOUNTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH GENERALLY
ACCEPTED ACCOUNTING STANDARDS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee has hired Bradly M. Deets as the new City Administrator,
effective April 1, 2022; AND,
WHEREAS, Denman & Company advised that generally accepted accounting standards dictate
that the City assure appropriate checks and balances are in place and that it is appropriate to
name the City Administrator, City Clerk and Finance Director as the authorized signatories;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
2 1 " day of March, 2022, that Bradly M. Deets, City Administrator be authorized to execute
checks on behalf of the City of Waukee, with Rebecca D. Schuett, City Clerk, jointly, and that
Linda Burkhart, Finance Director, continue as alternate signatory, effective April 1, 2022.
