RESOLUTION 2022-111
APPROVING INSTALLATION OF STREETLIGHT PROPOSAL FROM
MIDAMERICAN ENERGY COMPANY [NW 2ND STREET PROJECT, NW 2ND
STREET, NW SUNRISE DRIVE, NW SAWYER DRIVE, WMIS 29020761
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, MidAmerican Energy proposes to install thirty one (31) 150 Watt LED
equivalent lights on NW 2nd St, ten (10) 150 Watt 150 Watt LED equivalent lights on NW
Sunrise Dr, and four (4) 150 Watt LED equivalent lights on NW Sawyer Dr on 34' galvanized
steel poles with 6' masts NW 2nd Street project; AND,
WHEREAS, the street lights will be installed on steel poles and will be served by
underground conductors but will be billed to the City at the wood pole, overhead rate at a total
cost of $287,798.75;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that
the Installation of Streetlight Proposal from MidAmerican Energy for the NW 2°d Street
Project, WMIS 29020761 is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 21' day of
March, 2022.
