RESOLUTION 2022-117
REJECTING QUOTE FOR SOUTHFORK DRIVE CULVER REPAIRS PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF WAUKEE, IOWA:
WHEREAS, on March 16, 2022, the City of Waukee received quotes for certain public
improvements described in general as Southfork Drive Culvert Repairs Project and described in
the Request for Quotes that was provided to vendors; AND,
WHEREAS, on the date fixed for receiving quotes, all quotes submitted exceeded the
engineer's estimate of cost; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined it is in the best interest of the City to reject all
quotes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WAUKEE, STATE OF IOWA:
Section 1. That all quotes received for the construction of certain public improvements
described in general as construction of the Southfork Drive Culvert Repairs Project, be and are
hereby rejected.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 21 y` day of March, 2022.
