RESOLUTION 2022-131
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING
SERVICES WITH SHIVE-HATTERY, INC. [HEART OF THE WARRIOR
TRAILHEAD ENHANCEMENT PROJECT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City desires to retain the consultant services of Shive-Hattery, Inc., for the
Heart of the Warrior Trailhead Enhancement Project; AND,
WHEREAS, the planned enhancements consist of parking, drinking fountain, benches, and
other trailhead amenities, along with a connection to the Heart of the Warrior Trail, on a City -
owned property to the west of the Warrior Lane and Ashworth Road roundabout.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Professional Consulting Services between Shive-Hattery, Inc., and the City of
Waukee [Heart of the Warrior Trailhead Enhancement Project] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 4th day of April 2022.
