WORK SESSION MEETING
June 16, 2022
The work session meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order by Mayor Clarke at 5:30
p.m. at Waukee City Hall, 230 W. Hickman Rd.
The following members were present: Mayor Courtney Clarke; Council Members R. Charles
Bottenberg (electronically), Chris Crone, Larry R. Lyon, Ben Sinclair. Absent: Council Member Anna
Bergman Pierce. (Council Member Pierce arrived at 7:15 p.m.)
Also in attendance: City Administrator Brad Deets, Lyle Sumek with Lyle Sumek Associates, Inc.
Work Session: Goal setting and strategic planning for FY2022, final session — Mr. Sumek lead
the council through the final selection of top and high priority goals for FY2023. (Council Member
Pierce joined the meeting at 7:15 p.m.)
Meeting Adjourned at 8:15 p.m
