RESOLUTION 2022-226
RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING ERROR IN THE MAY 16, 2022 CONSENT AGENDA
AND RATIFING APPROVAL OF THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
STRATFORD CROSSING PLATS 12 AND 13
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND
WHEREAS, the consent agenda, as amended, for the May 16, 2022, Council Meeting identified
action was being taken on the following items:
Construction Drawings:
1. Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction drawings
[Tanglewoods Acres Plat 3]
2. Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction drawings
[Stratford Crossing Plat 13]
3. Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction drawings
[Stratford Crossing Plat 14]; AND
WHEREAS, the consent agenda, as amended, was approved by the Mayor and City Council at
that meeting, including the above described items: AND
WHEREAS, items 2 and 3 listed above should have been described as:
I. Construction Drawings:
2. Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction drawings
[Stratford Crossing Plat 12]
3. Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction drawings
[Stratford Crossing Plat 13]; AND
WHEREAS, the written Resolutions for those items, numbered 2022-213 and 2022-214
respectively, in the Council Packet being considered for those items on May 16, 2022 correctly
identified the action that was intended to be taken; AND
WHEREAS, for the avoidance of doubt, in order to correct the error in the May 16, 2022,
consent agenda, as amended, the error is being publicly identified and the action taken at that
meeting is being ratified and otherwise approved.
NOW BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the record
should reflect that the agenda, as amended, for the May 16, 2022 City Council Meeting
concerning the approval of construction drawings identified on the agenda, as amended, as items
I(2) Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction drawings [Stratford
Crossing Plat 13] and I(3) Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings [Stratford Crossing Plat 14] incorrectly identified those matters being considered.
Those matters considered and approved in the consent agenda at 1(2) and I(3) should have been
described in the agenda as I(2) Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings [Stratford Crossing Plat 12] and I(3) Consideration of approval of a resolution
approving construction drawings [Stratford Crossing Plat 13].
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the action taken on
May 16, 2022 approving Resolutions 2022-213 and 2022-214 approving the construction
drawings for Stratford Crossing Plat 12 and Plat 13 is hereby ratified and otherwise approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 6°1 day of June,
2022.
