RESOLUTION 2022-282
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CEDAR STREET FROM LOTH
STREET WEST TO IJTH STREET ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 6, 2022, BETWEEN THE
HOURS OF 11:00 A.M. AND 10:00 P.M. FOR THE PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD
BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, resident Dennis Ingle requests the temporary closing of Cedar Street from 101'
Street west to 11 u Street on Saturday, August 6, 2022, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and
10:00 p.m. for the purpose of a neighborhood block party; AND,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Code of Iowa §364.12(2)(a), public ways and grounds may be
temporarily closed by resolution;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
5'b day of July, 2022, that it hereby approves the temporary closing of Cedar Street from 10t'
Street west to 11t' Street on Saturday, August 6, 2022, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and
10:00 p.m. for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
