RESOLUTION 2022-285
APPROVAL OF AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO SEND REQUESTS FOR
PROPOSALS FOR CITY OF WAUKEE AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee has identified the development of additional
affordable housing options within the city as a strategic plan priority; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee has purchased property for the purpose of developing
affordable housing options; AND,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to solicit proposals from developers for the
development of affordable housing options on the property owned by the City of
Waukee.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 5t' day of July 2022, that it hereby approves and authorizes City staff to
send requests for proposals for the City of Waukee Affordable Housing Project.
