RESOLUTION 2022-308
APPROVING APPOINTMENT OF CITY OF WAUKEE
TITLE VI COORDINATOR
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, the Iowa Department of Transportation requires the appointment of a Title
VI Coordinator in order to implement and monitor compliance with the requirements of
Title VI and related nondiscrimination laws and regulations that are applicable to Federal
funding assistance that is passed through the Iowa Department of Transportation; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee Title VI Coordinator shall act as the representative for
issues and actions pertaining to a Title VI Non -Discrimination Agreement between the
City of Waukee and the Iowa Department of Transportation; AND,
WHEREAS, Mayor Courtney Clarke appoints City Clerk Rebecca D. Schuett as the
Title VI Coordinator for the City of Waukee.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Waukee, Iowa on the
18th of July, 2021, does hereby approve the mayor's appointment of City of Waukee Title
VI Coordinator.
