RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO THE CITY OF CLIVE'S
MAKING AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR
THE HICKMAN ROAD (US 6) & BERKSHIRE PKWY/SE
WACO PL INTERSECTION PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, STATE
OF IOWA:
Section 1. That the City of Waukee consents to the following bid for the construction of
certain public improvements described in general as the Hickman Road (US 6) & Berkshire
Pkwy/SE Waco PI Intersection Project, described in the plans and specifications heretofore
adopted by this Council on August 1, 2022, being accepted by the City of Clive, the same being
the lowest responsive, responsible bid received for such work, as follows:
Contractor: Minturn, Inc., of Brooklyn, IA
Amount of bid: $1,398,084.95
Portion of project: All construction work
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to notify the City of Clive that the City of
Waukee consents to the City of Clive's execution of the contract with the contractor for the
construction of the public improvements, such contract not to be binding on the City until approved
by this Council.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 1 st day of August, 2022.
